Singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil has been sentenced to 27 months in prison for perverting the course of justice and grievous bodily harm. 26-year-old Blake, a video assistant, was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court today for his part in an assault on pub landlord James King, and then attempting to bribe him £200,000 not to testify. When sentencing him, Judge David Radford said Fielder-Civil behaved in a "gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful way". Fielder-Civil has been in Pentonville prison since he was refused bail nine months ago, and consequently may only have to serve five more months. It was recently reported that Blake's family wanted him to be kept away from Amy upon his release because they feared she would tempt him back to taking drugs.
