Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil has admitted assaulting a barman and then attempting to cover it up. The Associated Press reports that Blake and three co-defendants plead guilty last week but a court order barred reporting the pleas because the man they assaulted, landlord James King, is due to face a separate trial. Blake faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison for the assault charge while perverting the course of justice carries a maximum sentence of life. Sentencing is due at a later date. Meanwhile Amy’s dad Mitch has said getting pregnant is the only way his daughter will get off drugs. “As for the drugs, she will get bored with them because the desire for children will take over,” Mitch told the People. “Amy knows that if she and Blake are going to have kids then she has to be in perfect health. I honestly think that in two years she will be fit, healthy and having babies – motherhood will be her drug.”
