Beyonce has denied claims she is a high maintenance diva and said she is simply misunderstood. "It angers me when I get called a diva. At one point I was misunderstood a lot. But the more I meet people, I think people are beginning to feel a little differently about me," she told Showbiz Spy before revealing her career plans. "My goal is to become a successful actress in dramas that don't involve singing. I've been comfortable in singing role, but I don't want to be comfortable. I want non-singing roles that will challenge me. I want to open the door for black female entertainers and show them they can do anything."
