This is a slight problem for Ashley, who found fame on Ricky Gervais' show Extras, because she has just signed a seven-year contract with the producers of Ugly Betty, ABC.
The 38-year-old actress, who plays stylist Christina McKinney in the show, says that she would prefer to start a family in the UK.
'I wouldn't want my child to have an American accent, so that's a slight worry,' Ashley revealed.
'And I do miss London.'
Ashley also said recently that some of the things she misses most about home are the smell of the London Underground, being able to hail a black cab and Walker's prawn cocktail flavour crisps.
