Ashley Cole has told friends that he has put his split from Cheryl Cole behind him and is ready to move on with his life, insiders have told the Mirror. Ashley is said to have told friends and family the news at younger brother Matthew's birthday party this weekend at The Manor House in Essex. "Ashley said as long as he has his family, nothing else matters. It was the first time he has been really smiling," a source - who also described Ashley as a "new man" - explained. "Ash said that he was finally getting himself back on his feet and was at last coming to terms with the split from Cheryl.
"It's only in recent weeks he has been able to laugh again and he has been making arrangements to move on with his life," the insider added before claiming Ashley's priority will now be "getting fit and helping England win the World Cup".
