Rochdale-born Anna Friel, who has recently been signed up star as Will Ferrell’s love interest in his new movie Land Of The Lost, has admitted she hired a Northern nanny so that her daughter Gracie will pick up her accent. Anna confirmed the news to US reporters saying, “I know my roots and where I’m from - I’m northern and I always will be. Now Gracie’s talking with northern mannerisms.” Then again Anna, you could always talk to her yourself.
