Peter Andre has admitted he was offered a chance to work on the current series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! but insisted agreeing to appear was never an option. While Peter’s ex Katie Price is said to be receiving £450,000 for her return to the jungle, insiders are divided as to whether Andre was approached about a full role in the camp or a behind the scenes gig as a reporter for GMTV. However, whatever the role offered, Andre has said accepting the offer was never in question for him. "I was approached by ITV to do the show three months ago, but I said no straight away,” Peter explained in his New magazine column. “For me it would be like going backwards and, as much as I love the people at ITV, I am keen to move forwards. And, more importantly I can't even begin to contemplate being away from the kids for a month. The good news is this means I'll have the kids to myself, which is amazing.
