Amy Winehouse to leave the UK

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has applied for permanent residency in St Lucia.
Amy Winehouse has made an official application to be given permanent residency in the Caribbean island of St Lucia, the News Of The World report. "Amy loves St Lucia and never wants to leave. She thinks the island has done her the world of good and she's writing more than ever," a friend explained before an official on the Island claimed, "We are aware of Amy wanting to live here on a permanent basis. We have received an application and are looking into it." However, a friend added that Amy's love of the island could be only half the reason for her to want to stay there full-time. "She's paid tens of thousands in tax already but she sees that she can avoid another huge bill. She'll be able to keep a larger slice of her fortune this way."
