Piers Morgan has laid into Amy Winehouse after hearing that singer had been hospitalised in St Lucia. Though her spokesman said Amy had fainted after becoming dehydrated, Morgan - writing on his official blog - wasn't convinced. "Amy is the greatest natural musical talent Britain's produced in years. Yet she seems determined to snort, booze and smoke her way into an early grave," he said. "Her spokesman insisted Amy merely 'fainted' after playing with children in the hot sun in St. Lucia and 'not drinking enough water.' Eye witnesses said she collapsed after a massive drinking session. Not difficult to know which theory to put your money on, is it? I love Amy's brilliant song-writing and singing, but I despise her for the selfish, self-destructive path she has chosen in her life off stage. Take a good long hard look in the mirror young lady, and stop being such a bloody fool. Before it's too late."
