Amy Winehouse avoids drugs charges

Police have confirmed Amy Winehouse will not face drugs charges.

Troubled Amy Winehouse won't face drugs charges over the video that apparently showed her smoking drugs, police have confirmed. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “The Crown Prosecution Service has now reviewed the case and no further action is being taken.” Amy was arrested, questioned and bailed by police earlier this month. Amy's spokesman said, "Amy is pleased to be able to move on. She particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly-awaited festival performances this summer.”
