Amanda Holden is to be paid £250,000 to become a UK correspondent for American TV network CBS, The Mirror report. Holden will become the UK face of US entertainment programme The Early Show. "We absolutely love her. She has great charisma and a fantastic cut-glass English accent. We couldn't think of anyone better for the job," an insider explains while a friend of Holden adds, "She's thrilled. It's a huge opportunity for her." Amanda's first interview in her new job is reportedly with fellow Britain's Got Talent panelist Simon Cowell.
