Amanda Holden has admitted she was surprised to find Alex Reid "charming" when she met him at Simon Cowell's recent 50th birthday party, The Mirror reports. "Jordan was the first person who came over to me. I'm a huge Peter Andre fan, but I found Alex Reid much more charming and affable than I thought I was going to," Amanda revealed before discussing Cowell's extravagant birthday celebrations. "In the toilets there were tribute videos running from people all over the world like Oprah and everyone, saying happy birthday. It was hilarious but a bit distracting. The attention to detail was incredible. There were fake Rembrandts and famous watercolours all over the ceiling with Simon's face squeezed in."
