Alex Reid has issued a public statement on his split with Katie Price, shortly after arriving in Australia to meet her. This weekend, News Of The World sources claimed Reid was on his way to Brisbane to propose to Katie following her stay in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, but before he made it to the set Katie walked out of camp and admitted during her exit interview that her relationship with Reid was over. Reid’s statement to press reads, "Following yesterday’s surprise revelations that Alex Reid’s relationship with Katie Price has apparently ended, Cage Fighter Films Ltd, with whom Alex has contractual obligations and responsibilities, would like to make it clear that he will continue with his business meetings associated with the film Cage Rage at undisclosed locations in Australia. Naturally, there are ongoing telephone conversations between the couple, but Alex has no further comment to make at this time regarding the state of their relationship."
