Rapper 50 Cent told a group of high school students in Connecticut, USA this week that they shouldn’t believe his lyrics. Despite glorifying drug use in his songs, the 22-year-old says he doesn’t do them any more, and shockingly, he doesn’t hate all police. And he calls himself a rapper… “I say in one of my songs I hate cops, but I don’t hate cops,” he told the students. “I’m expressing the feelings of a young boy who sees the cops take his brother away, and hates them for it.”He also hinted that his feud with Kanye West was simply a marketing strategy, saying, “His label and my label are both owned by Universal Music Group.” But there was no word about whether he was quitting music now that Kanye had outsold him. Surely that wasn’t another porky, Fiddy?
