Shaniqua Tompkins, who was in the property in Dix Hills when fire erupted over the weekend, and is pointing the finger at 50 said, “He's upset. If he can't have it, no one can. He threatened me.” The couple have been arguing over the house, also home to their 10-year-old son Marquise, in the courts. In April a judge ruled in 50’s favour and gave Shaniqua and son until the end of the school year to get out. Police have described the fire as “highly suspicious”. However, the rapper was miles away shooting a film in Louisiana at the time of the blaze.
