I have fallen in love with these people and I don\'t know how you walk away from that." The Sopranos also won the award for Outstanding Performance By An Ensemble In A Drama Series

James Gandolfini

Edie Falco\'s co-star James was a little less emotional about winner his Best Actor in a Drama Series award for The Sopranos. "This is our last official act as Sopranos together," he said. "Here\'s to you guys. Thank you very much. It\'s been 10 years. It\'s been an honour. That\'s all I can say." Sounds just like his character, Tony Soprano!

Tina just picked up a Golden Globe, and now she\'s got a SAG Award for Best Female Actress In A Comedy Series for 30 Rock, a show that she created and writes too. Of her co-star she said, "If you\'ve seen me on the show with Alec Baldwin, then you know it\'s sort of like watching Fred Astaire dance with a hat rack. After a while you\'re like, ‘Oh, that hat rack is pretty good too.\' "

Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin, screen actors guild awards, sags, best actor,celebrity,30 Rock, hollywood Alec Baldwin Veteran Hollywood actor Alec (pictured at last year\'s awards) won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his character Jack Donaghy in the US comedy show 30 Rock. However, Alec wasn\'t at the ceremony to collect his award.

The Office

screen actors guild awards, rainn wilson, sags, celebrity,TV,the office, hollywood Rainn Wilson The Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series award went to the American version of The Office, starring Steve Carrel and Rainn Wilson (pictured). Creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are writers and producers on the show, so that\'s another award for Ricky\'s mantelpiece! For total world domination, we think Ricky and Stephen should consider Indian and Chinese versions of The Office!

Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise, screen actors guild awards, sags, celebrity, scientology, scientologist, tomkat Tom Cruise Wee Tom wasn\'t up for an award but he does love the limelight, so it was no surprise he turned up to present the award for Best Actor. The SAG Awards are a relatively new affair, this year\'s being the 14th annual ceremony. Other mega stars at the ceremony included Brangelina and John Travolta.

Queen Latifah

John Travolta\'s movie Hairspray, the comedy musical in which he plays a woman, was up for best film but missed out to No Country For Old Men. He was also there to present an award with his Hairspray co-star Nikki Blonsky.

Unwanted guests

celebrity bodies, screen actors guild awards, sags, celebrity, hollywood Westboro Baptist Church Members of the widely despised Westboro Baptist Church protested outside the ceremony, with signs saying Heath In Hell and God Hates The World. The Church is threatening to protest at Heath Ledger\'s funeral because he played a gay cowboy in Brokeback Mountain. These hate-filled people obviously have absolutely no comprehension of the teachings of Christianity, which are based on love and forgiveness.

Kevin Kline

best actor, celebrity,TV,kevin kline, hollywood, actor Kevin Kline Kevin won the award Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for his performance in Kenneth Branagh\'s version of Shakespeare\'s As You Like It. James Spader accepted the award for an absent Kevin saying, "Kevin Kline could not be with us here this evening, so we accept the Actor on his behalf, with thanks." Wow, what a speech!
