Grace Holloway (Daphne Ashbrook) appeared as the illustrious \'companion\' only once, in the 1996 TV movie alongside the eighth Doctor Who (Paul McGann). Grace played a real-life doctor who tried to save the Time Lord\'s life after he was gunned down by a gang in San Francisco\'s China Town. Grace became most famous for being the first companion to be kissed by the mysterious Doctor… lucky girl.

She was originally assigned to work with the Doc by the White Guardian, who wanted her to assist him in the quest for the key to time… When Mary decided not to sign on for a second series, she was replaced by the rather less impressive Lalla Ward.

Vislor Turlough (Mark Strickson) became a regular crew member on the good ship Tardis back in 1983 along with the fifth Doctor (Peter Davidson) and his two female companions Tegan and Nyssa. Turlough was a bit of a baddy, and spent a great deal of time plotting to kill the Doctor – obviously he failed.

She is perfect combination of all the Doctor\'s best companions and she is also one of the few ladies in the Doctor\'s life to touch his heart… We\'ll miss you Rose :(
