Joshua Radin Simple Pleasures
Ellen Degeneres reportedly turned down Justin Timberlake in favour of Joshua Radin playing at her wedding, Heroes star Hayden Panettiere turned up at one his gigs and agreed to play a part in his music video for I'd Rather Be With You, and Scott Mills picked I'd Rather Be With You as his record of the week back in February. These are just three facts confirming that Joshua Radin is hot music property right now. He's being compared to Paul Simon and Bob Dylan and his hushed harmonies have led to the coining of a new music genre, named "whispercore". His album Simple Pleasures is out on 12 April, and Joshua is playing in the UK at the moment, at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on the 12 April, Concorde 2 in Brighton on 13 April, and at the Thekla in Bristol on 14 April.

The hunky Gerard Butler stars as a man who wants to teach the men that killed his wife and daughter, and the District Attorney (Jamie Foxx) who watched them get away with it due to legal loopholes, one of life's little lessons: There's nothing like a father scorned. With spectacular plot twists, explosions and emotional scenes Law Abiding Citizen is the best DVD release this week. Just don't feel guilty when you find yourself rooting for the ‘bad guy'.

Everyone's favourite, well TV Chef Jamie Oliver returns in a new series set to entice you to get off your sofa and cook some grub. Jamie looks like he's having a barrel of laughs as he smears spices over a shoulder of lamb, and crushes cloves of garlic in his hand - making him look almost more intimidating, and sexy, than Gordon Ramsay - in Morocco. Jamie samples the local's culinary delights before hopping up on to a rooftop to try and recreate them. The programme's fab as both a cookery show and an insight into the buzzing Marrakesh, so make sure you set your Sky + if you can't watch it on the night.
