Not much news on this album yet but we hear that Timbaland has produced most of it. A demo of one the new tracks was leaked onto the internet in August this year. The track, called Beautiful Nightmare, is thought to be the first single and sounds pretty damn hot to us.

Royksopp

Norwegian duo, Royksopp, are on the verge of releasing their third album according to their record label, Wall Of Sound. Not much is known about their forthcoming release but, in an interview with the BBC some time ago, the pair said their new record would include some progressive rock and a guest spot from pop star Robyn.

Grace Jones

The craziest b**** in pop is set to release her first album in two decades, Hurricane after wowing the critics at this year\'s Meltdown festival in London. Queen of all divas and ultimate \'80s icon, Grace Jones\' new album looks set to be a the must-have album of the year. The first single from the album, Corporate Cannibal, is a dirty, growling, electronic number that sounds reminiscent of an early Massive Attack.

No Doubt

Work has begun on a new No Doubt album, the first since their 2001 release, Rock Steady. Rumours are circulating that the band will be going back to their ska roots and Gwen Stefani will be writing most of the songs. Although nothing has been confirmed, the band are hoping to release the new record towards the beginning of next year.

Paolo Nutini

Sugababes

Plenty of rumours are circulating about the Sugababes\' sixth album. Some say that mister midas touch himself (aka Timbaland) approached the trio last year and asked if he could produce their new album. Others say that hot young UK producer and R&B artist Taio Cruz has been working with them on it. There have been whispers that Orson\'s lead singer Jason Pebworth has been spotted in the studio with the \'babes. All we know for sure is that their new album is bound to be a real treat, especially if their new single Girls is anything to go by.

We’ve heard some of the new stuff already and it’s quite different from their last album. According to the boys, the new album will be more of a dance record than a rock record, but still very much pop music. We also hear they’ve been using an old Russian synthesiser built from spare parts in the Cold War during their recording sessions – which sounds fabulously bizarre!

The Killers
