He's playing Hunter S Thompson in all but name, as Johnny Depp reappears on the big screen in The Rum Diary. Playing Paul Kemp in the adaptation of Hunter S Thompson's 1998 novel, it's the second time that Depp has stepped into Thompson's world, as he played him in Terry Gilliam's Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas.
