Jack Goes Boating

Starring and making his directorial debut, Phillip Seymour Hoffman plays Jack, a shy and awkward man who drives a limo and lives an unassuming life in New York City. His married friends Clyde and Lucy feel sorry for Jack and set him up on a blind date with Connie (played by Amy Ryan). From the producers of Little Miss Sunshine, Sunshine Cleaning and Away We Go, Jack Goes Boating promises to be a heart-warming tale of love and friendship. With Hoffman in lead, a rare occurrence, we can expect two hours of sheer brilliant acting, and directing in this uplifting and tender story.

Jack Goes Boating is in cinemas from 4 November
