The Iron Lady
Meryl Streep takes on the role of The Iron Lady in this biopic of Margaret Thatcher’s life. Whether you were a loyal supporter, an intrigued fan or simply couldn’t stand the woman, it’s worth a watch anyway. Phyllida Lloyd (Brick Lane, Shame) takes the helm as she transports us back to 1980s Conservative Britain, full of striking, riots and The Falklands war. How Maggie will be portrayed is only to be guessed at, for now.
The Iron Lady is released on January 6
