Harrison Ford talks comedy and working with Rachel McAdams on Morning Glory in our video interview.
I like to do comedy it doesnt always come around Harrison explains about taking on the role of Mike Pomeroy in Morning Glory, the story of a producers struggle to revive a morning TV show with dwindling ratings. But I thought this was a very well written script. I thought the character was interesting. I like the people involved the director Roger Michell, whose work I admire.
It was terrific to work with her, Harrison says of working with Rachel McAdams. Shes very talented. One of the things that I think is special about her is her capacity to keep the comedy going while having a real emotional reality going on behind it.
Its witty comedy. I love the language, and the skill with which the story is told, and its wit, rather than adolescent comedy that theres so much of nowadays, he says of the movie.
