Diane Kruger wanted to get as hands on with the action sequences in her latest movie, Unknown. “I loved the action and I really wanted to make sure I got to do it myself,” the actress explains in our video interview.
“I felt like it was part of her character, I really wanted the audience to believe, and I wanted to believe myself that I’m capable of doing all of this.”
Diane also wanted to get involved because of the strange relationship between her and Liam Neeson’s character. “Our characters don’t have a love connection, for once, in the movie,” she says “And I thought that was really interesting because we had to create some sort of intimacy between two lost souls.”
“It was quite moving to have these two characters who have lost their identity for different movies. But here they are bound together trying to figure out who they are or who they would like to become.”
Unknown is in cinemas now.
