It’s the end of an era for the entire Harry Potter cast, but especially Daniel Radcliffe. He was just 12-years-old when he first played the child wizard but after six films (soon to be eight and nine with the releases of Harry Potter and Deathly Shadows Parts One and Two) and 10 years it’s all about to come to an end.
“It was very emotional. Me, Rupert and Emma wept like children,” Daniel revealed of his final scenes. “We were very sad. Understandably though, we spent ten years of our lives there and to suddenly have to be like, ‘bye then’ was very weird. It was never going to be a casual thing.
“But we’re all very excited to be going out into the world,” he added. “I’m on another job on the Woman In Black and I’m doing a musical next year. It’s scary to get out of that comfort zone but it’s also very exciting.”
