Doing: Well, by the time you are reading this I will most likely be in a big, muddy field, surrounded by a lot of drunk people, watching bands from 12 noon ‘til 12 midnight – this weekend sees my annual trip to Reading Festival, and I cannot wait! I tend to go to festivals rather than on holiday, so this weekend is my excuse to go a bit crazy. I’ll be running in between bands, trying to catch as many as possible, including Crystal Castles, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and girl rock band Cherri Bomb, as well as the biggies: My Chemical Romance, the Strokes and Muse. With a dose of Pulp thrown in for good measure. Who doesn’t love Jarvis?
Buying: Obviously I’m not going to have a lot of time for shopping if I’m at a festival (unless that includes spending crazy amounts of money on a box of lukewarm Chinese noodles and a flat beer) so thankfully I’ve already packed everything I need for the weekend. If the sun comes out, I might even try wearing my leopard print Underground creepers from Office – fun shoes that are also comfy enough to run around a field in. Sounds like my kind of fashion...
