Opening its doors for the first time ever this February, Liverpool\'s luxury Hard Days Night Hotel will be a haven for Beatles enthusiasts the world over, and the place to stay in \'08. The Wedding Singer Musical

If there was ever a film worth adapting into a musical, it\'s The Wedding Singer. Released in 1998 it starred Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore and told the story of Robbie the luckless wedding singer who falls for a nice waitress who\'s engaged to a not so nice guy. The musical version first opened in the US in 2006 and has since been nominated for five Tony awards. In the UK, Robbie Williams\' best friend, Jonathan Wilkes will star alongside the lovely Natalie Casey.

Martian Museum Of Terrestrial Art : Pink Cher
When: 6 Mar - 18 May
This kooky exhibition attempts to imagine what extraterrestrials might make of Earth\'s art by setting up a pretend Martian Museum within London\'s Barbican Art Gallery. Some 150 contemporary pieces of art will be on display from the likes of Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol and Gillian Wearing, each standing alongside a fun faux-alien interpretation attempting to explain what the bejeebers it\'s all about.

The Garage Reopens in London
When: 14 Mar
Since opening in 1993, The Garage has become a celebrated venue for fledgling bands hoping to establish themselves as mainstream acts. Over the years The Garage has seen early performances from the likes of Radiohead, Oasis and Arctic Monkeys, and has now become something of a rite of passage for indie and rock bands both in the UK and in the States. Now under new management, the club has had a £1m refurbishment to increase its capacity, add a new sound system and various other cosmetic lifts. To reopen with a bang, indie-rock outfit Cud will be getting the party started, with more acts to be announced soon.

The Immodest Tease Show at KoKo

The queen of burlesque, Immodesty Blaize, will be sashaying into London for a two-night stint at Camden\'s Koko club with her brand new Immodest Tease Show. Gordon Ramsay\'s Plane Food Restaurant Opens
When: 27 Mar
Super-chef Gordon Ramsay will increase his empire this year with the opening of his new restaurant Plane Food, housed within Heathrow\'s Terminal Five building. With spectacular views and a menu loosely based on the fodder served at his illustrious Boxwood Café, Plane Food will most certainly be the only place to eat, and nice little treat, before you jet off to sunnier climes.

Amy Winehouse at Camden Crawl 07

After Amy Winehouse rocked the pants off last year\'s Camden Crawl, this year\'s event is bound to be packed full of similar delights. As usual, the line up won\'t be announced until all the tickets have been sold, but we hear that this year there will be an expanded daytime programme of non-gigging events on offer as well. £1 from each ticket will go to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Not only is the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition the world\'s oldest contemporary art competition and exhibition, it\'s also the largest.
