Spice Girls
December 2007-January 2008
After months of rumour and speculation, it was announced that Sporty, Scary, Posh, Ginger and Baby were joining forces once more for a world tour. The festivities kick off this December in Vancouver and will be accompanied by a Greatest Hits CD, shortly followed by a new Spice Girls documentary on DVD. But we\'re sure it\'s all about the fans, really.

Take That
October-December 2007
Since their sell-out reunion tour last year, the Take That boys have been back in the studio and recorded a whole cavalcade of new hits, and still we can\'t seem to get enough of them. All we need now is for Robbie Williams to sort himself out and return to the fold and it will be the most perfect reformation in history! If you are reading this Rob (of course he is - he\'s a great fan of the \'bag) - you still have plenty of time to come back for the Manchester leg of their European tour in December - make it happen. You know you want to.

Sex Pistols
November 2007
The most putrid lads in punk history are returning to the stage for seven live shows across the country to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, Never Mind The Bollocks. In a recent interview with NME, John Lydon issued this enigmatic summons to prospective concert goers, "See you all at Brixton with proper feelings and proper people all around. From London Bridge to The Rose And Crown, all of Britain is welcome so come on down."

The Verve
November-December 2007
Having announced earlier this year that they would be getting back together (for the second time), the Verve are now on the cusp of releasing a new album and will be back on the road in November. When the news first came out, the band announced that they were, "getting back together for the joy of the music". We can but wonder what happened to all the "musical differences", incessant feuding and lawsuits that followed their last stint together.

The Police
December 2007-February 2008
Another band that decided to reform in honour of a "landmark" anniversary were The Police. Happily, their reunion tour coincided with the re-release of their back catalogue - imagine that! Not that we\'re complaining - The Police rock.

Van Halen
October-December 2007
It\'s the reunion that fans have been holding their collective breath for, for 22 years. A Van Halen tour fronted by the one and only David Lee Roth, although how long it will last this time round is debatable, as the Van Halen brothers have never been much good at keeping hold of their band members. This tour also marks the inclusion of a new Van Halen family member - Eddie\'s 15-year-old son Wolfgang, who has replace Michael Anthony on bass.

For one night only, the surviving members of Led Zeppelin will reunite in aid of the Ahmet Ertegun education fund - a charity that raises money for university scholarships in the UK, US and Turkey. Even though Foo Fighter Dave Grohl offered to fill in on drums, that honour has gone to John Bonham\'s son, Jason.

Wu Tang Clan
The Wu-Tang ClanThe Tang recently had to cancel their planned reunion tour following a major row over conflicting dates. Rapper Ghostface Killah forced the other members to delay their plans so he could promote his solo album, which has caused something of a rift in the group, but in a recent statement on their website, they say the tour has only been shelved until spring next year. Let\'s hope they will have things patched up by then!

All Saints
Never got off the groundPoor All Saints, after finally reconciling their irreconcilable differences in 2005, they tried to make a comeback in 2006. But after dismal record sales the girls were dropped by their label and their reunion tour was duly cancelled. Don\'t worry though, the group are blindly determined to carry on, and according to their MySpace blog, they are still looking for a new record deal. Good luck with that!
