Isle Of Wight vibe:There are two major festivals on the Isle of Wight, Bestival and the island’s namesakefestival. While the former used to be the smaller boutique event, it’s now taken over in terms of numbers. However,the Isle Of Wight Festival is one of the oldest music events in the UK and still maintains its charm, while still playing to big crowds. Many-famous musical moments have occurred at the Isle of Wight Fesival, including Jimi Hendrix’s famed set in 1970.
Isle Of Wight 2011 line-up: Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters and Kasabian are all confirmed to headline the Isle Of Wight Festival 2011, with Pulp, Beady Eye, The Courteeners, Seasick Steve, Pixie Lott, Plan B, Two Door Cinema Club and We Are Scientists also playing.
Festival following: Erin O’Conor, Alexa Chung and Kate Moss have been seen hanging out at the Isle Of Wight Festival.
