Nell is a career-focused single mum leading the ultimate London lifestyle. She has a perfect job, fabulous friends, and a glamorous wardrobe. But when her mother has a stroke and she needs one of her three children to move up to Cornwall to take care of her, Nell is adamant that it wont be her. After all she has too many responsibilities, but, as everyone keeps pointing out to her, no husband. That is, until, she is made redundant from her job as a journalist. Nell loves her mum, but moving up to Cornwall means seeing her sister Heather, who happens to be marrying Nells ex-lover Jeremy. But Nell soon finds that moving up to Cornwall for the summer may just be the best thing thats ever happened.
If youre looking for a light-hearted, feel-good, fun read, this book is perfect. Polly Williams has cleverly interwoven two plots which come together with a real twist at the end. The book taps in to every emotion and will have you entertained this summer for sure.
