So that’s it. From hundreds of thousands down to just four. The X Factor final is finally upon us and we couldn’t have a more varied group of acts.
We’ve chosen our best performances from each of the finalists, tell you what we love about them and then tell you who we want to win. Will you agree?
Cher Lloyd
While Cher Lloyd might say she doesn’t like doing ballads because they’ve “been done” and she “wants to bring something new” to contemporary music (dodgy cod rapping presumerably), you can’t deny her version of Shakespeare’s Sister’s Stay on live show four was her best of the series.
Cher was able to prove that she can sing, without any of the gimmicks and is actually rather soulful. We’re hoping she’ll at least sing one ballad in the final.
If Cher gets anywhere, we’d suggest she leave the attitude at home. No matter how much everyone keeps saying she doesn’t have an attitude, any videos we’ve seen suggest otherwise. She also needs to stop with the crying. Smile love, you’re on TV.
