Fraggle Rock : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
Junior Gorg: "Look, Ma! I got a Fraggle!"
Focussing on the lives of group of Fraggle friends called Gobo, Mokey, Red, Wembley and Boober, Fraggle Rock was so popular in the \'80s that the theme tune made it into the Top 40. As much as we loved the Fraggles though, we think we may have loved their Doozer friends more. They were so cute!

Dogtanian And The Three Muskehounds : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
One for all and all for one muskehounds are always ready.
Who can forget this fantastic retelling of the classic tale of D\'Artagnan and the three musketeers. In this cartoon, of course, D\'Artagnan and his musketeer pals are actually dogs, although the whole show wasn\'t devoid of other animals, there was also a cat, a pig, a bear and Dogtanian\'s adorable sidekick mouse, Pip.

He-Man & She-Ra : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
He-Man: "By the Power of Grayskull! I have the power!"
Take one cowardly prince emasculated by a pink, white and purple skin-tight ensemble. Give him a big sword. Effeminate clothes vanish to be a replaced by nothing but a furry pair of shorts and humungous muscles. Grrr... He is He-Man and he can defeat the powers of evil (namely the not too bright Skeletor) while delivering a handy message of honour, truth and justice to the kids. "Hey!" said one wily toy executive, "If we gave He-Man a twin sister who did the exact same thing, but with a unicorn, think how many more action figures we could sell!" Cue the arrival of She-Ra with her very own spin-off cartoon. Remember the excitement you felt when the two crossed paths and He-Man and She-Ra got to battle evil side by side? Happy, happy joy.

The A-Team : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.
The pinnacle of Saturday night TV for every kid in the ‘80s, The A-Team (BA Baracus, Face, Murdock and Hannibal) were a crack team of soldiers on the lamb doing good deeds for people in need. Most of these good deeds resulted in The A-Team being locked in a shed by the bad guys, only to break loose using the tank they just built out of matches, spanners and frogs.

Knight Rider : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
Michael Knight, a lone crusader in a dangerous world. The world... of the Knight Rider.
Without doubt the best thing the Hoff ever did, Knight Rider told the story of an undercover detective who, after being shot in the face and left for dead, was saved by the mysterious FLAG (Foundation of Law And Government) and installed with a new face, name, and talking car called KITT. Michael Knight and KITT were the perfect crime fighting duo - one had the beauty, the other had the brains. We\'ll leave it up to you to decide which was which.

Danger Mouse : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
Penfold: "Have you got something clever up your sleeve, DM?"
As funny today as it was way back when we were still in shorts, Danger Mouse had it all: dastardly villains, crazy aliens, secret agents, mind boggling gadgets, an abundance of custard, a barrel of laughs, nail-biting suspense and best of all, Penfold.

ThunderCats : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
"Thunder! Thunder! ThunderCats... HOOOOOO!"
Surely a contender for best cartoon theme tune ever, ThunderCats exploded onto our TV screens in 1986 and straight away we were hooked. We encountered the flutterings of an inappropriate crush over the likes of Lion-O and Tygra, while also dreaming of one day becoming as feisty and fit as the delicious Cheetara.

Knightmare : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
"Enter, stranger."
Cor, they don\'t make ‘em like this any more do they?! Virtual reality was never as cool as it was in Knightmare - the interactive Dungeons & Dragons style game that had four intrepid youngsters (one helmeted up in virtual world, the other three shouting directions and being generally useless) fighting for their lives against a cavalcade of monsters, demons, jesters and other frightening things. The aim of the game was to a) get through it without and dying and b) retrieve an object of power like The Sword Of Truth or the Shield Of Justice. G E N I U S.

Grange Hill : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
Mr Bronson: "You boy!"
Love it or hate it, Grange Hill was one of the most talked about TV shows of the ‘80s. The kids at that school went through it all: bullying, football hooliganism, under age sex and most potently of all - heroin addiction. After running for a staggering 30 years, Grange Hill aired for the last time in February 2008. Sad times.

Dallas : Top 10 \'80s TV shows
Sue Ellen: Which slut are you going to stay with tonight, JR?
JR: "Whoever it is has got to be more interesting than the slut I\'m looking at right now."
It\'s one of the most successful television series of all time. It had the greatest theme tune ever to be attached to a soap opera. It had bitch fights. It had sex. It had power. It had cliff hangers. It had dream sequences. It had Patrick Duffy. Dallas we salute you.
