What's the story?
Five American students meet up with an old pal in Ireland to party in the woods and take a bunch of psychedelic mushrooms. Things quickly go awry when one member of the group ingests a lethal 'shroom which she claims has given her the power of foresight. While she runs around having fits and palpitations interspersed with gory predictions of her friends' futures, the rest of the gang are busy getting frightened to death by the crazy locals or being murdered in a grizzly fashion by a mysterious cloaked figure who is out for revenge.
Worst bit
It's not the best horror/slasher flick we've ever seen. It's difficult to pinpoint a worst bit, as there were several weak moments and at times we felt like we'd seen it all before.
Best bit
The end twist probably makes it a worthwhile visit to the cinema if you are looking for a good Friday night scare. We're not saying the twist is genius or anything - and we can be little dim when it comes to puzzling films out - but if you guess what the twist is before the film is over don't blame us.
Verdict
A few bumps and few hide behind the sofa moments, a few really bad lines ("I wish I'd never taken those ‘shrooms" - really?!), a few really bad performances and a few unimaginative moments. But, if you are willing to enter into the spirit of things, then realise it's not going to be the best movie you have ever seen, and get ready to be spooked!
