What's the story?
Reese Witherspoon plays Isabella Fields El-Ibrahimi, the American wife of Egyptian-born chemical engineer Anwar El-Ibrahimi (Omar Metwally) who disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington. Isabella desperately tries to track her husband down, while a CIA analyst (Jake Gyllenhaal) at a secret detention facility outside the US is forced to question his assignment as he becomes party to the man's unorthodox interrogation.
Worth a punt?
With a crop of excellent actors in the mix along with an award winning director, this movie has all the ingredients of a hit, although so far the film's reception has been pretty lukewarm. Perhaps this is one for hardcore Gyllenhaal fans only.
