What's the story?
Remy (the cute and adorable rat) has a nose for haute cuisine and longs to be chef. Linguini (the accident-prone and slightly irksome human) wants to be a chef too, but can't actually cook.
As serendipity would have it, the pair come together and eventually form a highly successful cheffing partnership. Remy provides the cookery smarts and acts as human puppeteer to Linguini, who, for some reason, can be controlled by a variety of hair-tugging techniques, and provides the requisite chef-shaped body.
Loving...
The whole adorable thing. This is one of those special movies that enchants from beginning to end. The animation is everything we've come to expect from Pixar and more, while the charming story and loveable characters will have you oohing and ahhing like you never knew you could (especially over a bunch of rats).
Worried about...
The number of children who will be asking Santa for a pet rat this Christmas - it's got disaster written all over it. Remember Finding Nemo and the Clownfish debacle?
Who would like this?
Big kids, little kids, rat lovers, food lovers and anyone who loves a 'happy ever after...'
