The last time we saw our friendly neighbourhood good guys they had just seen off Sylar in spectacular fashion, only for him to disappear right at the very last moment when we'd all left him for dead.
Peter we presume is dead, or at least a little charred, after he went nuclear and Nathan had to fly him up, up and away before he exploded on the ground.
Also left in hot water at the end of season one was Hiro, who had somehow managed to transport himself back in time to feudal Japan, and Matt who could also be a goner after he was shot with his own bullets.
So what have the gang been up to in our absence?
In season two's first episode we catch up with the Heroes four months after the grand finale took place. New Heroes are popping up all over the place, including twin brother and sister Alejandro and Maya who between them wield an awesome power. Old Heroes on the other hand are being murdered all over the shop - but by whom?
The mysterious Company continues to set its sights on controlling our Heroes, including Claire and her family who it transpires have moved to South Carolina in an attempt to hide from their would-be captors.
