What's the story?
Santa's got a big brother. Who knew?! His name is Fred. Fred is a bit jealous of all the attention his little brother has garnered over the years and feels like maybe it's his turn to get some love. Fred has a tendency to mess up. Fred messes things up for Santa. Fred might have messed things up for Santa so much that the future of Santa's present giving operation may be at risk. Can Fred save the day, Santa Claus and Christmas?
Best bit?
The Christmas cheer of course! There's a surprising amount of good actors in this movie and it's their individual performances that keep this Christmassy romp from drowning in a sea of good will vomit.
Worst bit?
It's not Christmas yet - talk about milking something for all it's worth.
Verdict
Fun for all the family? Check. A good wholesome message? Check. A puppy? Check. A new-found Christmas classic? Not so much.
