Jorge Garcia
Big-hearted and generously proportioned, Jorge had roles in 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and 'Spin City' before Lost, and has also done stand-up comedy in LA. The laidback funnyman has become one of the show's favourite stars as lottery winner Hurley, and has thrown himself into island life, often at the centre of all the parties.
Success with the ladies
The fame he has enjoyed as a star of 'Lost' has blown Jorge away. 'I don't think anyone would have expected the level of success 'Lost' has had, especially worldwide,' he says. And as one of the show's most loveable characters, he often has women throwing themselves at him in the streets. 'They say, "Can I have a hug?" I get that a lot,' he says.
How to woo him
As you can clearly see, 33-year-old Jorge loves his food. Especially curries. 'Every time I am in the UK I try and eat as much Indian food and curry as I can. I like to find the range!' he confesses. He also loves animals, and has a dachshund, Nunu, and a cat called Lil Ninja.
Eligibility
Since living on Oahu, Jorge has fallen for local sales rep Malia Hansen and they got together early last year. The big boy has taken the opportunity to lose weight while filming and has shifted more than 30lb since filming began, and hopes to lose up to 100lb. 'Being stuck on a desert island is the perfect chance for me to lose weight. I am feeling a little more settled and grown-up and I want to take better care of myself,' says Jorge.
