What’s his talent? Julian plays saxophone so beautifully the audience gave him a standing ovation and he left Amanda in tears.
Amanda said: “To cry at a saxophone is something I was not expecting, and it was wonderful.”

Who: John, 76, and granddaughter Sally, 12.
What’s their talent? The grandfather-granddaughter duo sing together. In their first audition they sang A Whole New World together but Simon buzzed them out as they went into the second verse.
Simon said: “I love the relationship between the two of you. I just think it’s like putting seven sugars in your coffee, it’s just a little too sweet.”

Who: A girl band aged 23-26 that have been together for six years.
What’s their talent? An all-singing, play-their-own-instruments girl band, who want to be just like the Spice Girls.
Amanda said: “It’s just like you’re made for this show.”

Who: Fred Bowers, 73
What’s his talent? OAP Fred is a self-taught breakdancer who performs nights a week at local nightclubs. We almost couldn’t watch his first audition – we were so worried he might break something!
Piers said: “You were diggin’ it, bro.”
Jackie Prescott and Tippy Toes

Who: Jackie Prescott and her dancing dog
What’s their talent? Tippy, or ‘tips’ for short is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier – a breed with a bad reputation. Jackie wants everyone to realise what you can gain from dancing with your dog.

Who: A six-girl hip hop troupe
What’s their talent? An all girl street dance group who have the kind of energy that could power a whole city. These girls lock and pop to their heart’s content.
Simon said: “This is the first time that I’ve seen a bunch of girls who could give these male dance groups a run for their money.”

What’s his talent? Callum sang Consider Yourself from the musical Oliver in his first audition, and dreams of performing in the West End.
Amanda said: “You have a raw talent which you definitely need to keep.”
Simon said: “I’m not going to say yes to the audition, I’m going to say yes to you.”

Who: Fabia Cerra, 35, housewife
What’s her talent? Fabia champions bigger women with her burlesque dancing. She had the whole auditorium laughing, but she said that’s what it’s all about.
Amanda said: “For curvaceous women everywhere I think you made your point, my love.”
