What's the story?
When his best man Dupree (Owen Wilson) loses his home and job Carl invites the unlucky fella to stay with him and his new wife Molly (Kate Hudson). It's soon after their wedding and the bachelor promises he won't hang around long but within no time he's taken over and caused some major mess ups. He orders in strippers for a boys night in with the happily newlywed Carl, unearths the groom's secret porn collection and sets fire to the house, all the while barely even making a half-hearted attempt to get work.
Not liking...
There's a great comedy somewhere in this bland film, it just seems as if Dupree's hidden it along with the remote control. The situations are dull and characters even duller as the actors aren't allowed to really let go and make them interesting. Even comedy natural Wilson's not that funny.
