Betty Suarez, the unlikely fashion assistant with a heart of gold and a mouth full of metal is back, and not a moment too soon, say we. There are deep, burning questions that need answering (Is Fey Sommers really Amanda's mum? What will happen to Betty and Henry? Will Daniel and Alexis survive the car crash?). Plus, we can't wait to see if Victoria Beckham's cameo role as Wilhemina's bridesmaid can eclipse her reality TV show performance. For those of you who can't resist a little taster of what's to come, we've managed to dig up a little dirt...
When we last saw Betty, her world had turned upside down. Henry, her adorable geek love match, had run off with the pregnant Charlie, her father was deported to Mexico and her sister Hilda was in agony over the death of Justin's father Santos.
From what we've twigged, the Betty/Henry will-they-won't-they saga continues, as does the mystery surrounding the paternity of Charlie's baby. As for Amanda's bloodline woes, she receives her first inheritance from murdered Editor In Chief Fey Sommers in the form of her dog. Logic tells us that Daniel survives (what would the show be without the duo that is Betty and Daniel?), especially since we've heard rumours that he hooks up with a much older woman. Along with Victoria Beckham guest starring, we've also heard that James Van Der Beek (who put the Dawson in the Creek) will also be making an appearance.
