The Fighter is the true story of boxing legends Dickie Eklund (the gorgeous Christian Bale) and Mickey Ward (Mark Wahlberg). Dickie is a former boxing legend whose life has become a shadow of its former self through drug abuse, while his half brother Mickey has become the town’s fighter and only, fading, hope for a champion. With Mickey losing fight after fight, it takes strong-willed Charlene (Amy Adams) to help him split from his troubled family, put himself first and train without his criminal brother.
