Victoria Beckham revels in icon status

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham loves the fact that she and husband David are considered gay icons.

Victoria Beckham has admitted she loves that her and husband David’s are gay icon status, Attitude magazine reports. “I love it! I’m hugely flattered when anyone says they like me, or David. I mean, David is gorgeous. I can understand why anyone would fancy him - man, woman, dog, cat; just look at him!” Victoria said before explaining how she deals with the constant press interest in her life. “I don’t have any interest in the tabloids,” she said. “I have a great team of people who look out for that kind of thing and they let me know if I should sue someone. But generally speaking I don’t hear it and I don’t really care about the criticism because I feel very fulfilled creatively and professionally. I don’t like it when people criticise my weight because I know there are a lot of young girls that look up to me, so I consider that incredibly irresponsible.”
