The Peanuts cartoonist Charles M Schulz died in 2000 of colon cancer. A partnership was formed last October between the Peanuts comic and Warner Bros studios, creating a flurry of fresh Peanuts content. This sent the cult cartoon flying off shelves and placed its creator safely at No 2 on the list of the highest earning dead celebrities.
