Thousands paid for Kate Moss self portrait

A buyer has paid £33,600 for a Kate Moss self portrait.

A self portrait of supermodel Kate Moss has been sold for £33,600. The picture, painted by Kate in lipstick, failed to sell at a Lyon and Turnbull auction but was bought by a mystery buyer after the event. Kate painted the picture while she was with Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty and the painting features his blood stains and a message, "who needs blood when you've got lipstick" written in his blood. Sources tell the BBC the painting had been expected to sell for £40,000.
