New mother and X-Men star Halle Berry became the first (and only, so far)  African American woman to win an Oscar for Best Actress when she scooped the award for Monster's Ball in 2002. The former beauty queen has been a Bond Girl in Die Another Day, and a superhero twice; Storm in the X-Men series and Catwoman (a flop which earned her a Razzie for Worst Actresss). 2009 sees 41-year-old Halle starring in Frankie And Alice, a film about a woman struggling with multiple personality disorder.
