In 2004 Johnny starred alongside Kate Winslet in Finding Neverland - the life story of Pete Pan author JM Barrie. Other real-life characters Johnny has potrayed include drug-addled writer Hunter S Thompson in Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas and transvestite film maker Ed Wood.
