Sienna Miller to appear in Robin Hood

Actress Sienna Miller has confirmed she will play the role of Maid Marian in a film remake of Robin Hood.

Sienna Miller has said she’s to play Maid Marian in Sir Ridley Scott’s upcoming version of Robin Hood. “It's happening. I just found out. It's the most exciting news in the world,” Sienna told the BBC. “It's ridiculous. But there's this looming actor's strike, so it's not 100 per cent sure that it's going to be made, but it's looking pretty certain. I could not have a better part.” Sienna will star alongside Russell Crowe, who is expected to play the Sheriff of Nottingham cast as a sympathetic character to a not-so good Robin Hood in a twist on the fable.
