Sharon quits The X Factor

Sharon Osbourne stormed off The X Factor on Saturday night accusing the show of being a fix, after two of her artists came in the bottom three.

X-Factor judge Sharon Osbourne quit the show at the weekend, rather than vote one of her own acts off the show. She had been faced with choosing between Alisha and Kimberley after both her acts ended up in the bottom three. An X Factor source revealed: "At this point in time Sharon has said she is no longer a judge on The X Factor. We are hoping she will be able to sleep on her decision and calm down." If Sharon does stand by her words it could mean Simon Cowell will draft in Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, who is said to have been put on standby in case Sharon goes. But we wonder whether Sharon's actions are a desperate attempt to gain viewers after the talent show has been pummeled in the ratings by Strictly Come Dancing.
