Country singer Faith Hill was so confident that she had won Female Vocalist Of The Year at the Country Music Association Awards in 2006, that when Carrie Underwood’s name was called out she raised her arms triumphantly before realising she’d lost, reacting in angry disbelief and stormed off. Now that’s an ego for you.
